The conclave comes immediately after the deadly shooting last week between the Somali army and Ugandan troops in Mogadishu.

According to the spokesman of the Ugandan force, Brigadier Richard Karemire, Somali troops opened fire on the convoy of the Ugandan contingent of the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amisom), provoking a response from those attacked.
